A Special Print Offer

Robert Rauschenberg: Score, 1970

In 1980, artist Robert Rauschenberg wrote a letter to FCA founder Jasper Johns entitled, "Have I got a deal for you." In the letter, Rauschenberg proposed donating a print edition to the Foundation, in exchange for Johns's donating a print edition to Rauschenberg's "Change" foundation, which assists artists with health-related emergencies. Ultimately, "SCORE", a lithograph printed by Gemini G.E.L. as an edition of 75, was donated to the FCA.

A few prints in the edition remain and are available exclusively from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts - and at a very special price of $5,000, far below the average cost of a Rauschenberg print. This work is sold unframed.
