Claes Oldenburg Poster

FCA Exclusive

In 1967 Pop artist Claes Oldenburg was invited to design this poster for the Foundation's third benefit exhibition, held at the now defunct Kornblee Gallery in New York City. It was thought that only two copies of the poster survived until 2006, when a large, flat package was discovered in the Foundation offices tucked away on a high closet shelf. The package contained 180 copies of the poster, so it is still considered to be quite rare. Mr. Oldenburg generously signed a small quantity to help raise funds for the Foundation's programs. Unsigned copies are also available. This work is sold unframed.
